Compare two folders, right in your browser
Pick two folders and Kotej pairs their files by path, then tells you which ones are the same, which changed and which exist on only one side. Open any file to see the differences.
Free, no account, and nothing is uploaded: everything is compared in your browser.

Questions
Is there a size limit?
Only your device's memory. Files are read lazily, as the comparison needs them.
Can I compare a folder with a ZIP file?
Yes. An archive on one side and a folder on the other compare the same way as two folders.
What if a file was renamed or moved?
Mark one file on each side as the base of a new comparison and Kotej compares them directly, whatever their paths.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Kotej runs entirely in your browser: files are read on your device and compared there. Nothing is sent to a server, which is also why it works on confidential configuration, customer data and production logs.
Is it free?
Yes, free and with no account. There is also a native macOS app with the same engine, for comparing folders straight from Finder: Kotej on the Mac App Store.
